Hola, My name is crucita matos...cru for short.

I am a photographer, a grandma, an over-thinker, an incorrigible people person & animal lover! I consume more music than TV, and my superpower is connection. Dancing and music are my first loves, but my camera has kept me company for over 25 years. I've tackled box chain studios, gorgeous nervous brides, weddings, blended families, Quinceañeras, large groups, corporate headshots, overbooked studio calendars, antsy kids and parents, and much, much more. In addition to creating great images for some of the most amazing people, I preserve their portraits in prints and heirloom art that they will enjoy for years to come.

Any time someone pulls out one of our family photos from the family archive, it is shared amongst one another for our family to enjoy from wherever they are. The value is in the original photo. If the print didn't exist, we wouldn't be able to share it. They are priceless to us. Family Portraits are sacred, irreplaceable and they tell the story that we were here, we lived and we loved...immensely. So much, that we captured it forever, as much as we could. We won't trade that archive for the world!
